Originally from Scotland (hence the extra ‘i’ in his name), Iain Lee is a stand-up comedian, and TV presenter. You might recognise him from the TV show The 11 O’Clock Show which he co-hosted with the rather more attractive Daisy Donovan. He also presented RI:SE on Channel 4. More recently he’s been chatting with Londoners on his weekend late-night radio show on LBC.

I thought appearing on his show was the perfect way to spread the word about my new country, recruit more citizens and premiere my National Anthem. I was so happy that I was going to make him my Minister of Radio, Television and iPods. Unfortunately, he didn’t seem to take my country very seriously and on several occasions he committed treason by calling me a ‘mentalist’ so I had to revoke his diplomatic status.
